Empowering Foster Youth to Thrive in Independent Adulthood

About 23,000 youth age out of foster care each year without being reunified or adopted. Out of those, 20% become instantly homeless and over 50% struggle with stable housing by age 26.

Our mission is to support Berkeley foster youth in their transition to independent adulthood by providing transportation access and connecting them to vital community resources, including vocational training, trade schools, STEM education, technology bootcamps, and financial literacy programs.

We are dedicated to closing the opportunity gap by equipping youth aging out of care with the tools, skills, and guidance they need to thrive. Through strategic partnerships and evidence-based programming, we work to reduce rates of homelessness, unemployment, and system recidivism—empowering foster youth to achieve long-term stability, self-sufficiency, and lasting success.
